Position Overview
We’re expanding our Civil Infrastructure Product Line Group in India and building new Software Engineering Scrum teams focused on delivering desktop and cloud-connected tools for civil engineers. Our teams develop the core technology behind Autodesk Civil 3D and related tools used by civil engineers through design, construction, and delivery.
This role is based in Singapore, and you will play a key part in supporting and working closely with the new development teams in India. You’ll help ensure they have clear requirements, direct customer insight, and the context needed to build high-impact workflows. You’ll help connect customer problems and insights to the teams building the next generation of transportation and land development capabilities.
As a Product Manager, you will lead discovery, prioritization, and definition of customer requirements for road, highway, and land development workflows. You’ll engage directly with transportation agencies and consulting firms worldwide, maintain awareness of competitive solutions, and ensure Autodesk’s direction reflects real-world customer needs.
This is a hybrid position in Singapore, and you will report to Sr. Group Product Manager.
Responsibilities
Lead proactive gathering, analysis, and prioritization of road/highway and land development solution requirements for use in product planning
Collaborate closely with Product Managers across Civil 3D, InfraWorks, Forma, Revit, AutoCAD, and partner applications, as well as Industry Strategy and Marketing, Sales, and Autodesk Leadership
Support and collaborate closely with the new development teams in India by providing clear requirements, context, customer insight, and timely feedback throughout development cycles
Support Autodesk’s engagement with transportation agencies and consulting organizations, including site visits, workflow assessments, and user group participation
Develop competitive assessments to inform product and business planning activities
Contribute to solution planning for road, highway, and land development workflows in support of Autodesk’s Strategic Intent and Realization
Engage with product teams, including POs and scrum teams, to ensure critical customer requirements are understood and translated into compelling workflows
Connect engineering teams with customers for UX research, workflow validation, and ongoing sprint reviews
Willingness to travel to customer sites, industry events, and Autodesk offices (including US, India, Shanghai, Potsdam, Krakow, and Toronto)
Ability to participate in occasional off-hour meetings with global teams
Minimum Qualifications
5+ years experience in Product Management
5+ years of professional experience in road, highway, or land development design and production
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering(or related field)
Production-level experience with Autodesk Civil 3D and Autodesk InfraWorks
Familiarity with Scrum/Agile methodologies
Positive, results-oriented mindset with a track record of delivering outcomes
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and collaborate effectively with design leadership and cross-functional teams
Strong problem-solving skills, including framing the correct problem from complex or varied data
Confident presenter who can communicate clearly to peers, stakeholders, and leadership
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with competitive civil/transportation design or modelling tools (e.g., OpenRoads, 12d, Civil Designer, InRoads)
Experience working directly with transportation agencies or large civil engineering consultancies
Demonstrated success translating complex engineering workflows into clear product requirements
Experience supporting distributed engineering teams across India, China, Europe, or North America
Ability to analyse customer usage data, telemetry, or workflow patterns to support product decisions
Experience participating in beta programs, UX research, or structured customer feedback cycles
Familiarity with AECO industry standards such as IFC 4.3 or ISO 19650
Strong ability to present to customers, industry groups, and internal leadership in a technical or product-focused context
