Job Description

Our bankingclient is strengthening its Enterprise Automation & Scheduling function andis looking for a Senior Automic Automation (UC4) Workflow Engineer with deep experience in banking batch cycles, regulatory workloads, and mission‑criticalworkload orchestration.

If you’ve worked on EOD/EOM/EOY cycles, payment clearing windows, SWIFT/SEPA batch chains, risk& regulatory reporting, and core banking batch modernization, this role is tailored for you.

🛠 What You Will Work On (Banking‑Specific)

Designing and optimizing UC4 workflows for core banking systems (Temenos, Avaloq, Flexcube,Finacle, etc.)

Managing End‑of‑Day(EOD), End‑of-Month (EOM), and Regulatory Reporting batch cycles

OrchestratingSWIFT, SEPA, ACH, RTGS batch processes with strict cutoff dependencies

SupportingTreasury, Payments, Cards, Risk, and Compliance workload automation

Migrating legacy mainframe batch (JCL, COBOL jobs) to cloud‑ready orchestration

ImplementingAIOps‑driven anomaly detection for critical banking workloads

Integrating UC4with Airflow, Control‑M, or cloud-native schedulers for hybrid bankingenvironments

Working with Splunk/Dynatrace for observability, SLA monitoring, and automated remediation

Building automation using Unix, Java, Shell, and API integrations

Ensuring compliance with ITIL, audit, and banking regulatory controls

Acting as SME for banking service owners during automation redesign and modernizationinitiatives

🎯 Ideal Profile

7–10 years hands‑onwith Automic Automation (UC4) in a banking or financial services environment

Strong understanding of banking batch cycles, dependencies, and SLA‑driven workloads

Experience with regulatory reporting (FINMA, MAS, ECB, Basel, IFRS, etc.)

Exposure toMainframe → Cloud modernization in banking

Familiarity withpayment clearing systems and time‑critical batch chains

Experience withAIOps, event correlation, and automated incident workflows

Strong scripting background (Unix, Java, Shell)

Comfortable advising operations, risk, compliance, and application owners
