Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinates with Senior Management Team
- Creates/tracks/manages department KPIs, trends, goals & objectives within department.
- Trains and develops and inspires supervisors, leads, and technicians.
- Accountable for the creation and maintenance of all technical documentation (Drawings, Models, NPI’s, SOP’s, OMS, etc.)
- Maintains & continuously improves processes through ISO documented procedures.
- Deep understanding of ERP/MRP systems and data integrity
- Responsible for root cause analysis and resolution through CAR, & OFI processes
- Maintains/tracks ECO’s, & EOL
- Maintainscommunication with related departments & customers regarding status of Engineering projects and RFQ’s.
- Incorporates and utilizes checklists to validate teams effectively review all standards and requirements (special equipment, packaging, tooling, etc.) to effectively process order.
- Establishes cost, labor, list price, and lead-time standards that deliver consistent timely quotes.
- Negotiates and improves upon supplier’s standard pricing with a focus on sourcing the highest value and lowest cost materials to remain competitive in the marketplace.
- Delivers prompt accurate cost estimates that ensure profitability and competitiveness.
- Other duties as defined by the Business Unit Director
- Handles personnel reviews and assessment
QUALIFICATIONS - Bachelor's degree in business management, Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with hand-on experience with data and Microsoft Excel reporting
- Past ERP/MRP experience
- Operate as a collaborative team member and function with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, demanding and deadline-driven culture.
- Ability to multi-task, pay attention to details and prioritize/manage multiple requests simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, good listener with ability to focus on uncovering customer concerns.
- Enjoy challenges and initiating new ideas that improve customer relations while developing business operations.
- Self-starter, motivated to get things done accurately and timely.
- Able to follow instructions and execute assigned duties.
