Job Description

We’re seeking a hands-on NPI professional with strong control panel manufacturing experience and extensive project transfer expertise , capable of leading overseas-to-Singapore manufacturing transitions while remaining deeply involved in technical problem-solving and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end NPI activities for control panel products, from design transfer to full production release.

  • Work closely with R&D, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain to ensure designs are manufacturable, scalable, and cost-efficient.

  • Lead DFM and DFx reviews, identifying risks early and driving design and process improvements.

  • Oversee process validation, tooling, equipment selection, and manufacturing documentation.

  • Ensure production lines are ready for pilot builds and ramp-up, meeting quality, cost, and delivery targets.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve yield, cycle time, and overall manufacturing performance.

  • Coordinate with suppliers and external partners on tooling, materials, and technical alignment.

  • Track and manage key manufacturing metrics during pilot and early production phases.

  • Lead, coach, and manage a team of technicians, providing technical direction and on-the-job training.

  • Travel to US for a period to learn existing products and manufacturing processes, and transfer and implement them locally.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field).
    Strong experience in NPI manufacturing for control panels.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, tooling, validation, and production ramp-up.
  • Proven people management experience in a manufacturing or NPI environment.
  • Comfortable working across functions and driving alignment between engineering and production.
  • Willingness to travel overseas for process transfer and knowledge handover.
  • PM Certification and fluent in Chinese is advantageous.
