Finance Manager

My client is seeking a hands-on and commercially driven Finance Manager to oversee the full spectrum of finance operations for their Singapore outlets.
This is a standalone role where you will act as the key finance partner to the business - managing day-to-day accounting, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing insights to support operational and strategic decisions.

Job description:
- Manage full set of accounts in accordance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS)
- Prepare monthly financial statements, management reports, and variance analysis
- Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing
- Work closely with the General Manager on pricing strategies, cost control, and profitability analysis
- Support operational decisions with financial insights and data-driven recommendations
- Handle GST filings, corporate tax, and statutory compliance requirements
- Ensure adherence to local regulatory and audit requirements
- Conduct stocktake verification and investigate discrepancies between POS and accounting records
- Strengthen internal controls to ensure data accuracy and accountability
- Act as the key liaison with Group Finance in China
- Support financial reporting, consolidation, and audit requirements across entities

Job requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related discipline
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in full-set accounting, preferably within F&B or retail industry
- Proven ability to work independently in a hands-on, individual contributor role
- Strong knowledge of Singapore tax regulations (GST, Corporate Tax)
- Experience with accounting systems (e.g., Xero, SAP, Kingdee) and POS systems
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
