Security Supervisor

Our client is a leading Singapore based engineering & manufacturing company with a strong international footprint, an organization known for their technical expertise, and long standing global partnerships.

Roles & Responsibilities:

The Security Supervisor is responsible for managing daily shipyard security operations to safeguard people, property, vessels, and infrastructure. This position includes leading and supervising security personnel, ensuring full compliance with company policies, shipyard standards, and regulatory requirements.

Operations & Security

• Oversee daily security operations across shipyard access points, docks, workshops, and restricted areas
• Manage access control for employees, contractors, visitors, and vehicles to ensure site security
• Conduct regular patrols to deter unauthorized access, theft, vandalism, and safety violations
• Monitor CCTV systems and respond swiftly to alarms, security breaches, and incidents
• Enforce shipyard safety protocols, PPE requirements, and permit‑to‑work controls

Team Supervision

• Deploy, manage, and roster security personnel to ensure adequate coverage
• Conduct daily briefings to communicate duty assignments, safety notices, and operational updates
• Monitor attendance, discipline, and performance standards of security staff
• Provide on‑the‑job coaching, training, and guidance to new or junior officers

Management of Incident & Emergency

• Respond promptly to security incidents, accidents, fire alarms, or conflicts
• Coordinate with shipyard management, HSE teams, emergency responders, and relevant authorities when necessary
• Prepare clear and accurate incident reports and submit timely updates to management
• Support emergency response plans, evacuation drills, and crisis management activities

Compliance & Documentation

• Ensure adherence to company SOPs, shipyard regulations, and applicable security policies
• Maintain accurate security records, including patrol logs, access registers, incident reports, and attendance records
• Assist with audits, inspections, investigations, and compliance reviews as required

Coordination & Comms

• Work closely with operations, HR, HSE teams, and contractors on security‑related matters
• Handle inquiries, feedback, and complaints from employees and visitors in a professional manner
• Provide regular communication to management on security risks, manpower planning, and improvement recommendations

Requirements:

• GCE "O" Level or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 - 3 years of security experience, preferably in shipyard or industrial environment
• PLRD Security Supervisor License
• Able to commit to rotating shifts, weekends & PH
