AV Technician Lead

Role Summary

Technical lead responsible for crew capability, warehouse discipline and operational readiness. Protects equipment standards and ensures consistent execution across all deployments.

Acts as the technical backbone of daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee AV technical standards and execution quality

• Assign warehouse tasks and enforce discipline

• Ensure equipment testing, labeling and readiness

• Maintain inventory organisation and control

• Approve deployment readiness

• Act as technical authority during major jobs

• Coach and develop AV crew capability

• Resolve technical escalations

• Identify operational inefficiencies

• Create and improve SOPs

• Prevent equipment damage and failure

• Support long-term technical improvement

• Maintain high discipline across warehouse operations

Requirements

• 5–8 years AV technical experience

• Proven leadership over technical teams

• Deep troubleshooting capability

• Strong warehouse and equipment discipline

• Calm authority under pressure

• Responsible and highly organised

• Good communication and coaching ability

• Driving ability is an advantage but not required.
