DevSecOps Engineer

Job Purpose
The team designs, delivers, and operates secure, reliable, and scalable digital platforms to supportpolicy, operations, and service delivery across Singapore’s social service sector.
The DevSecOps Engineer plays a key role in embedding security, automation, and operational best practices across the application lifecycle.
You will work closely with application engineers, security teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to design, implement, and maintain secure cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and operational controls, ensuring systems meet government security and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities and Activities:

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support secure and reliable application delivery
• Embed security controls and best practices across the software development lifecycle
• Support deployment and operations of applications on cloud platforms
• Implement and manage infrastructure as code for cloud resources and environments
• Configure and maintain identity, access controls, logging, and monitoring in line with security requirements
• Perform security hardening, vulnerability remediation, and operational improvements
• Collaborate with developers and security teams to ensure secure-by-design application architecture
• Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and operational procedures

Job Requirements

Qualification & Experience
• Relevant education qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related technical fields• 3–5 years of experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, site reliability engineering, or cloud operations
• Cloud or security-related certifications (optional)Skills
• Experience in designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS) and cloud-native services
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools and practices (e.g. Terraform, AWS Cloud Formation)
• Understanding of application and infrastructure security, including access controls and logging• Experience with monitoring, alerting, and operational support
• Exposure to containerization and orchestration technologies• Experience with version control systems (e.g. Git) and automation workflow
