Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and proactive DevSecOps Engineer with a strong background in cloud infrastructure and CI/CD automation across AWS, GCP, and on-premises environments. This role is critical to ensuring the secure, reliable, and efficient deployment of containerized microservices. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise, a security-first mindset, and a passion for operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage secure CI/CD pipelines for containerized workloads. 
• Deploy and maintain AWS ECS (Fargate) services and associated cloud components (e.g., S3, RDS). 
• Provision and operate GCP Kubernetes (GKE) clusters using Terraform. 
• Ensure environment consistency across on-prem SIT and cloud staging platforms. 
• Implement robust secrets management, IAM policies, and network security controls. 
• Integrate automated security scanning and compliance checks into CI/CD workflows. 
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize infrastructure reliability. 
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of deployment architectures and operational procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 
• Minimum 5 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or related roles. 
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS ECS (Fargate) and core AWS services. 
• Proficiency in Kubernetes (preferably GKE) and related tools (kubectl, Helm). 
• Solid experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code. 
• Familiarity with CI/CD platforms such as GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc. 
• Deep understanding of cloud security principles including IAM, VPC networking, and secret management. 
• Strong Linux administration and scripting capabilities (e.g., Bash, Python).

Preferred Skills

• Experience working in regulated or confidential computing environments. 
• Knowledge of DevSecOps methodologies and secure software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices.

Soft Skills

• Demonstrated ownership and a proactive problem-solving approach. 
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to thrive in dynamic, multi-environment setups with cross-functional teams.
