VP, Information Security - Payments (GLC)

Our client is looking for an experienced cybersecurity leader to strengthen its information security and cyber resilience for the transit and digital payments business.

As AVP / VP, you’ll partner closely with senior management to drive the organisation’s security strategy — balancing business enablement with risk management, and ensuring full compliance with MAS and other regulatory standards.

What You’ll Do

🔹 Shape and implement enterprise-wide security and cyber resilience strategies
🔹 Advise senior management on emerging threats, governance, and regulatory developments
🔹 Oversee cybersecurity operations – threat intel, incident response, IAM, and vulnerability management
🔹 Drive audit readiness, regulatory compliance (MAS TRM, PDPA, PCI DSS, ISO 27001)
🔹 Embed security-by-design across cloud, infrastructure, and payment platforms
🔹 Lead, mentor, and grow a team of cybersecurity professionals
🔹 Champion innovation in automation, AI/ML threat detection, and continuous monitoring

What You’ll Bring

✅ Degree in Computer Science / Information Security or related field
✅ 10+ years’ experience in IT & cybersecurity, including 5+ in leadership
✅ Professional certifications (CISSP, CISM, CCSP, CRISC, GCIH)
✅ Strong technical grounding across infrastructure, network, and cloud (Azure/AWS/GCC)
✅ Solid understanding of MAS TRM, PDPA, ISO, NIST, and CIS frameworks
✅ Excellent stakeholder engagement, crisis management, and communication skills
