IT Manager @Tuas

Responsibilities

• Lead technical design and development of software applications to support ERP systems and business operations, ensuring alignment with organizational goals
• Develop, maintain, and enhance ERP software applications including SAP Business One and Microsoft Business Central to optimize business processes
• Administer and monitor application databases to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and security
• Provide timely IT solutions to operational and user requests by analyzing data and generating reports using database tools
• Manage IT infrastructure tasks including hardware installation, upgrades, deployment, and changes to support business continuity
• Lead and guide IT team members to achieve project goals and deliver technical leadership
• Oversee IT sourcing and procurement processes for system enhancements, maintenance, and operational support to ensure cost-effective solutions
• Maintain and enhance company website functionality and reporting capabilities using Crystal Reports and Microsoft Business Central tools
• Prepare and present reports on IT issues, cost savings, and project progress to Heads of Department and participate in monthly review meetings
• Develop and manage the IT budget for the fiscal year and coordinate with auditors to meet yearly audit requirements
• Support troubleshooting and issue resolution for SAP and Microsoft Business Central systems to minimize downtime
• Ensure quality of work (QOW) in IT operations meets company standards and procedural requirements
• Coordinate pre-implementation activities including vendor selection, agreement arrangements, and new system implementations
• Train new IT personnel on system processes and pricing uploads including sales price, purchasing price, and cost price
• Conduct annual reviews of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), software licenses, and maintenance costs to ensure compliance and cost efficiency

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Degree in IT with 4 years of experience in programming, specification, software design, and application implementation.
• Background as Systems/Network Engineer, Database Administrator, ERP Analyst, or Security Analyst
• Proven experience in full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) implementation projects for ERP systems and web/domain management
• Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP Business One, Microsoft Business Central, and MS NAV
• Knowledge of MS SQL, Crystal Reports, firewall and security systems
• Programming skills in SQL, Visual Basic, and stored procedures
