IT Security Engineer (GRC – Governance, Risk & Compliance)

We are looking for an IT Security Engineer (GRC) to strengthen our governance, risk, and compliance posture. You will partner with IT, infrastructure, and business teams to identify security risks, embed controls into projects, and support incident resolution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Report on security risks, vulnerabilities, and residual risk to management
• Identify and track non-compliance and information-security exposures
• Embed security controls across IT projects and system lifecycles
• Work with infrastructure teams to design and implement technical controls
• Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and SLAs
• Review and advise on security access and exception requests
• Evaluate and recommend security tools and technologies, including business cases
• Support security incident investigation and remediation

Requirements:

• 3–6 years’ experience in IT Security / GRC / Risk & Compliance
• Strong knowledge of ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2, or similar frameworks
• Experience working with enterprise infrastructure or cloud environments
• Ability to communicate security risks to technical and non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Certifications:

• ISO 27001 (LI/LA), CISSP, CISM, CRISC
• Cloud security certifications (AWS / Azure) – advantage
