The Role
At MediaOnline, we bridge the gap between hardware and digital content. We are seeking a Technical Associate to handle the deployment and support of our turnkey digital signage solutions.
In this role, you aren’t just "installing screens"—you are the vital link between our Project Engineers’ designs and the final live environment. You will use your technical background to interpret system requirements, configure specialized hardware & software, and ensure 100% operational success on-site.
Key Responsibilities
1. System Deployment & Integration
Instruction-Based Execution: Implement full-turnkey setups based on technical drawings and instructions provided by the Project Engineer.
Hardware Setup: Install and commission professional displays, LED display & controllers, and media players.
Infrastructure: Oversee and execute the physical infrastructure, including mounting systems and data cabling to ensure system stability.
2. Configuration & Technical Support
Software Provisioning: Configure digital signage CMS software, OS settings (Windows/Linux/Android), and network parameters (IP addressing, Gateways).
On-site Diagnostics: Perform logical troubleshooting for connectivity issues or hardware malfunctions, acting as the eyes and ears for the engineering team.
Turnover: Conduct final system testing and basic user briefings for clients upon project completion.
Technical Requirements & Qualifications
Academic: Diploma in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, or Mechatronics.
Technical Knowledge: A solid understanding of AV signal flow, PC hardware, and basic networking (LAN/WAN).
Hand-Eye Coordination: Competency in using hand/power tools and basic measurement for precise installations.
Documentation: Ability to read technical schematics and maintain accurate "As-Built" documentation and site reports.
