Infrastructure and Release Engineer

· Must have minimum 5-8 years of infrastructure & release management experience

· Implement and manage comprehensive patch management strategies for operating systems, applications, and network devices to ensure security and compliance.

· Plan, execute, and oversee infrastructure upgrades for hardware, software, and network components, minimizing downtime and ensuring compatibility.

· Manage, deploy, and maintain OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) environments, including installation, configuration, scaling, and troubleshooting of clusters.

· Perform OpenShift cluster maintenance, including upgrades, patching, monitoring, and troubleshooting.

· Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of software releases across the organization.

· Develop and manage release plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

· Design and implement automated build, test, and deployment pipelines to streamline software delivery.

· Manage and maintain version control systems (e.g., Git), ensuring proper branching, merging, and tagging strategies.

· Coordinate release activities with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth and timely deployments.

· Troubleshoot and resolve build and deployment failures, identifying root causes and implementing preventative measures.

· Develop and maintain documentation for release processes, tools, and configurations.

· Implement and manage continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices.
