Software Engineer – (Java, J2EE, Microservices, AWS Cloud Services, API, Apache JMeter)

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop backend services and microservices using modern Java frameworks.
• Translate business and functional requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Build reusable components and APIs aligned with enterprise standards.
• Ensure applications meet performance, scalability, and security requirements.
• Develop and support system integrations with internal and external platforms using messaging and API-based approaches.
• Deploy and manage applications in cloud environments, leveraging managed services where appropriate.
• Support containerized or platform-based deployments in collaboration with DevOps teams.
• Write and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure code reliability.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and memory-related issues.
• Address code quality, security vulnerabilities, and compliance requirements proactively.
• Work within Agile/Scrum teams, participating in planning, estimation, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate closely with frontend teams, QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders.
• Support SIT, UAT, and production releases, including post-deployment validation.
• Provide technical guidance through code reviews and mentoring.
• Prepare and maintain technical design documentation and solution artifacts.
• Ensure adherence to SDLC processes, engineering standards, and audit requirements.

Requirements

• 8+ years hands-on experience in Java and application development with good experience in banking sector.
• Strong experience in J2EE technologies like JDBC, Hibernate, Spring boot JPA, Spring MVC, Spring
• Strong experience in microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
• Strong experience in AWS Cloud services.
• Solid experience of Spring-based frameworks and ORM technologies.
• Strong experience in API and Performance Testing.
• Sound experience in Apache JMeter.
• Experience with relational databases and NoSQL databases including query optimization.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, build tools, and version control systems.
• Experience working in Agile delivery models.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Experience with messaging platforms and event-driven architectures.
• Exposure to frontend technologies and full-stack collaboration.
• Experience in supporting production systems and release governance.
