Job Summary

You will deliver detailed electrical and instrumentation design solutions, preparing technical drawings and documentation to support project execution. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders to resolve technical challenges and drive project success.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed electrical and instrumentation designs and prepare accurate technical drawings to support project requirements.
• Interpret and create Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID), technical data sheets, and Input/Output (I/O) wiring diagrams to ensure design clarity and compliance.
• Perform electrical and instrumentation calculations to validate design integrity and safety standards.
• Review electrical and instrumentation documents and specifications submitted by clients and consultants to ensure technical accuracy and compliance.
• Examine and verify electrical and instrumentation drawings and documents received from suppliers and vendors for quality and conformity.
• Liaise effectively with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to identify and resolve technical issues both on-site and in the office.
• Coordinate with engineers from other disciplines within the department to ensure integrated project delivery.
• Prepare pre-procurement evaluations by assessing technical and commercial bids from vendors and suppliers to support procurement decisions.
• Provide engineering support during tendering processes, including preliminary design development, material selection, and cost estimation to influence project bids.
• Deliver technical support to project teams for ongoing projects, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues encountered on site.
• Assist in preparing project schedules, work procedures, method statements, and monthly progress claims to facilitate project tracking and reporting.
