Job Description

Consolidated Accounting & Reporting

• IFRS Compliance: Responsible for aligning Korea-based IFRS with Japan's reporting consolidation packages
• Dual Reporting: Establish and manage timely financial reporting systems for both parents companies of Japan and Korea in their respective formats

Tax Planning & Treasury

• Transfer Pricing Management: Minimize tax risks in intercompany transactions
• Dividend Policy: Formulate efficient profit repatriation schemes considering both Japan and Korea tax regulations
• FX Risk Management: Execute hedging strategies to manage KRW/JPY exchange rate fluctuations

Governance & Compliance

• J-SOX / K-SOX Compliance: Establish internal control processes that meet both Japan and Korea SOX standards
• JV Agreement Monitoring: Monitor fund utilization and maintain governance based on the Shareholders' Agreement (SHA)

- Support the development of the financial strategy for Group Companies in Southeast Asia, and overall business expansion and growth strategy

- Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management in Group Companies in Southeast Asia

- Ensure full compliance with Singapore statutory, tax, audit, and regulatory requirements

- Act as the key liaison with auditors, tax agents, banks, and regulatory authorities

- Provide timely financial insights and analysis to support business decision-making

- Support regional expansion, restructuring, or new business initiatives as require

Job Requirements

• More than 10 years of experience in a senior finance leadership role

• As the role requires communication with both parents companies of Japan and Korea, basic proficiency in spoken and written Korean or Japanese will be preferred.

• Accounting Expertise: Possess strong knowledge and expertise on Japan GAAP, Korea GAAP, and IFRS.

• Negotiation & Conflict Resolution: Ability to find data-driven solutions from a neutral standpoint when the interests of the two parent companies conflict.
