Responsibilities

5G Core Architecture & Design Authority for NaaS initiatives:

Serve as the Teams’s expert on 3GPP 5G Core standards (Release 16/17/18), including detailed knowledge of SBA, NFs (AMF, SMF, UPF, NRF, NSSF, PCF, UDM, AUSF), and interfaces (N1-N15, N22, N29). Provide deep technical guidance on the integration of Network Exposure Functions (NEF) for CAMARA/GSMA Open Gateway API implementation and drive the Open gateway initiatives for technical implementation.

Network Slicing Expertise:

Architect the implementation of E2E network slicing from the Core perspective, providing expert advice on the role of core functions such as NSSF, NRF, and PCF in slice selection, authentication, and policy enforcement in 5G dynamic slicing platform.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience in telecommunications network architecture, with focus on 4G EPC
• Experience with the lifecycle management of 5G Core Network Functions in a cloud-native environment (VMs, Containers, Kubernetes).
• Ability to design or implement solutions involving the Network Exposure Function (NEF) and API frameworks (e.g., CAMARA).
• Deep understanding of the 5G Core's role in End-to-End Network Slicing
• Knowledge of Kubernetes, containers, Orchestration and the CNCF landscape
