Cybersecurity Engineer

Role Overview

The Cybersecurity Engineer supports daily security operations, vulnerability management, IAM, and cryptographic key management to ensure enterprise systems remain secure, compliant, and operational. Acts as the technical security point-of-contact for customers and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct vulnerability assessments and coordinate VAPT/WAPT activities
• Analyze findings, prioritize risks, and track remediation
• Support IAM platforms (authentication, SSO, federation, certificate lifecycle)
• Operate and maintain Key Management Systems (key generation, rotation, backup, recovery)
• Support integration of IAM/KMS with applications and cloud services
• Respond to customer security queries, audits, and compliance reviews
• Monitor platform security health and produce regular reports
• Support incident investigations and maintain security documentation

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in cybersecurity / security operations
• Experience with vulnerability scanning tools (Nessus, Qualys, Rapid7, OpenVAS)
• Hands-on IAM platform support (preferably IBM ISAM)
• Experience with Key Management Systems / encryption technologies
• Knowledge of PKI, TLS, and key lifecycle management
• Linux troubleshooting experience
• Familiar with ISO 27001, NIST, CIS or similar frameworks
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Nice to Have

• Regulated or government environment experience
• Cloud security / cloud KMS exposure
• Certifications (CISSP, CISM, CCSP)
