Network Engineer (Cisco ACI Support & Deployment)

About the Role

We are seeking a Network Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Cisco ACI (Application Centric Infrastructure) to support enterprise network operations and participate in ACI deployment and enhancement projects. This role combines L2/L3 operational support with project-based implementation work in a large-scale, production-critical environment.

The successful candidate will work closely with network architects, infrastructure teams, and vendors to ensure network stability, scalability, and successful delivery of ACI-based solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Cisco ACI Operations & Support

• Provide hands-on support for Cisco ACI fabrics, including day-to-day monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident resolution
• Support ACI components such as APIC, spine, and leaf switches
• Perform fault isolation, root cause analysis, and remediation for ACI-related issues
• Support change, incident, and problem management processes in accordance with operational standards

Network Deployment & Projects

• Participate in Cisco ACI deployment, migration, and expansion projects
• Execute fabric builds, policy configuration, and testing activities
• Support migration from traditional network architectures to ACI environments
• Work with vendors and internal teams on project planning, implementation, and post-deployment support

Enterprise Network Support

• Support enterprise networking technologies including routing, switching, VLANs, and network security
• Work alongside firewall, load balancer, and data center teams to deliver integrated network solutions
• Support network upgrades, technology refresh, and capacity expansion initiatives

Documentation & Governance

• Maintain accurate ACI and network documentation, diagrams, and configuration records
• Support audits, compliance requirements, and operational reviews
• Contribute to continuous improvement of network operations and deployment standards

Requirements

Experience

• Minimum 4 to 6 years of network engineering experience
• Proven hands-on experience in Cisco ACI support and deployment
• Experience supporting both BAU operations and project-based network implementations
• Exposure to enterprise or data center environments is preferred

Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with:

1. Cisco ACI (APIC, spine, leaf architecture)
2. Enterprise routing and switching
3. Traditional and software-defined networking concepts

• Good understanding of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, and network segmentation
• Experience working in high-availability, production environments

Soft Skills

• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams
• Clear communication skills for engaging technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, operationally critical environments

Certifications (Nice to Have)

• CCNA / CCNP (Data Center or Enterprise)
• Cisco ACI or Data Center–related certifications

Preferred Profile

• Experience supporting large-scale enterprise or data center networks
• Exposure to regulated or SLA-driven environments
• Willingness to support after-hours maintenance or standby rotations when required
