Associate/Legal Counsel (Monee Insurance)

Job Description: • Act as a legal partner supporting the global insurance business, working closely with product, tech, and operations teams across multiple Asian and Latin America markets • Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial and insurance-related agreements with a focus on speed, clarity and effective risk management • Analyse, interpret, and advise on insurance-related regulatory requirements and regulatory developments across multiple jurisdictions, proactively assessing impact on products, operations, and growth plans, and translating regulatory change into clear, actionable guidance • Support the launch and iteration of insurance products and offerings across our digital platforms and offline with external partners, managing legal workstreams from concept to launch. Requirements: • Qualified lawyer with minimum 5 years’ PQE • Insurance experience desirable but not essential; experience supporting tech-enabled or regulated products highly valued • Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills • Strong regulatory analysis capability and sound commercial judgement • Proven ability to work effectively across Asian markets highly valued • Highly adaptable, comfortable operating in a very fast-paced environment • Strong stakeholder and project management skills, with the ability to prioritise, execute, and deliver under tight timelines
