Infrastructure Engineer (2 years contract)

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor system health and performance, including review of OS, application, and backup logs.
• Manage software deployment and OS patching, and produce patch compliance reports.
• Coordinate with vendors, OEMs, and appointed agents for troubleshooting and hardware/software replacement.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date system, network, and asset documentation.
• Plan and execute vulnerability scans, generate reports, and implement remediation through configuration changes or patching.
• Configure and monitor backup jobs, generate status reports, resolve backup issues, and perform approved recovery activities.
• Troubleshoot network, system, and application connectivity and performance issues.
• Support change requests including certificate renewal, token key provisioning, and cyber security rule configuration.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Bachelor Degree in IT, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline
• Virtualisation: Nutanix, Hyper-V (Windows 11)
• Cybersecurity & Monitoring: Splunk Infrastructure Monitoring, Tenable Nessus
• Hardware: F5 appliances
• Backup: Veritas NetBackup (NBU)
• Operating Systems: Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), Windows Server 2019 Datacenter
