Our client is a leading provider of advanced power supply solutions for industrial and commercial sectors. With decades of experience, they serve as a regional hub for sales, marketing, and research & development, supporting markets across Southeast Asia, South Asia, the Middle East, and Oceania. Their product portfolio includes AC-DC power supplies, DC-DC converters, programmable power systems, and EMC filters, serving critical industries such as medical, aerospace, semiconductor, and test & measurement.

Working Location: Toa Payoh, Singapore

Working Hours: Monday – Friday | Hybrid Work Arrangement (50% WFH, 50% Office)

Job Overview:

This position combines technical expertise with sales responsibilities to support customers across local and regional markets. The successful candidate will provide technical solutions, participate in product development discussions, and collaborate with internal teams to achieve business objectives. The role involves regular client engagement, regional travel within ASEAN, and the flexibility to work under a hybrid arrangement.

Job Responsibilities:

Sales & Business Development

  • Promote and sell Switch Mode Power Supplies, AC Sources, DC Programmable Power Supplies, and related power solutions
  • Identify and develop new customers across industries such as electronics manufacturing, R&D labs, automation, EV, renewable energy, and testing facilities
  • Manage and grow existing customer accounts to meet sales targets
  • Prepare quotations, negotiate pricing, and close sales opportunities

Technical Support (Pre‑Sales)

  • Understand customer applications and technical requirements
  • Recommend appropriate products and configurations based on specifications (voltage, current, power rating, load characteristics, etc.)
  • Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and technical discussions
  • Support customers with product selection, system integration, and application guidance

Customer Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, system integrators, and distributors
  • Serve as the key technical and commercial contact point
  • Handle customer inquiries, RFQs, and tender submissions promptly and professionally

After‑Sales Support & Coordination

  • Coordinate with internal engineering, production, and service teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment
  • Provide customers with basic troubleshooting support and liaise with service teams when needed
  • Collect customer feedback and market insights to support product improvements

Market & Product Intelligence

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing movements
  • Provide insights to product management regarding customer needs and market demand
  • Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and technical seminars as required

Job Requirements:

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Power Electronics, or related disciplines
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in technical sales, application engineering, or sales engineering
  • Experience with power supplies, test & measurement equipment, or industrial electronics is an advantage
  • Basic understanding of:
  • Power electronics and electrical specifications
  • AC/DC power systems
  • AC sources and DC programmable power supplies (preferred)
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities
  • Customer‑oriented mindset with good problem‑solving skills
  • Self‑motivated, target‑driven, and able to work independently
  • Willing to travel for customer visits when required
