Junior/ Senior Infrastructure Engineer - (Perm Role)

Job Scope:

• Perform system health (such as review of OS system, application and OS backup logs) andperformance.
• Perform software distribution, Operating System (OS) patching and generate patch statusreports.
• Liaise with appointed agent, vendors or OEM for them to conduct troubleshooting orreplacement of hardware and software.
• Provide device configuration documentation and any updates to the documentation such as maintain up-to-date network / System documentation and system inventory assets list.
• Plan and configure vulnerability scanning, generation of vulnerability report status and performthe required mitigation configuration or patching.
• Plan and configure backup jobs, generation of backup jobs status and perform the required mitigation configuration to resolve backup jobs issues.
• To also perform recovery jobs when a change request is approved.
• Perform network and application troubleshooting for system connectivity and performance issues.
• Support change request for certificate renewal and provisioning and token key provisioning and perform rule configuration for cyber software.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Bachelor Degree in IT, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline

Technical & Functional Skill Sets:
Virtualisation - Nutanix, Hyper-V on Windows 11
Cybersecurity Tools - Splunk Infrastructure Monitoring, Tenable Nessus
Hardware - F5 appliances
Backup Tools - Veritas NBU
Operating System - Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), Windows Server 2019 Datacenter
