Senior Manager, Treasury

Responsibilities:

• Drive capital efficiency and enhance financial profit and loss across the Sumitomo Corporation Group.
• Secure funding through various methods and negotiate with financial institutions to obtain necessary financing.
• Gather and analyze information related to the Asia and Oceania region, including activities of the Sumitomo Corporation Group within these region.
• Monitor and analyze financial performance of Group companies in Asia and Oceania, and provide financial consultation and advisory support to strengthen and build a sound business foundation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University
• More than 15 years of relevant working experience in the Finance Department of a Japanese trading company.
• Strong understanding of Japanese trading company business practices.
• Possess comprehensive expertise in Finance, including cash control, liquidity management, and settlement processes relating to trading business, with strong proficiency in foreign exchange (FX) transactions covering risk management, hedging strategies, and market analysis, and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with financial institutions, particularly Japanese banks.
• Excellent communication skills to establish and maintain professional relationships with financial institutions, especially Japanese banks.
