Head of Finance & Operations

Job Summary

IM JAI is Singapore’s first creative casual Thai concept restaurant seeking a hands-on Head of Finance & Operations to lead financial management and operational excellence, supporting business expansion and sustainable growth.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver monthly management accounts and detailed financial analyses to inform strategic decision-making
• Ensure full compliance with GST, tax, payroll, and statutory regulatory requirements to mitigate risks and maintain legal adherence
• Develop and implement cost-control strategies that enhance profitability and operational efficiency
• Lead daily operations management, including the execution and continuous improvement of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and effective manpower planning
• Manage inventory control processes and negotiate with suppliers to optimize cost and supply chain reliability
• Maintain compliance with all relevant local regulatory requirements to support smooth business operations

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
• CPA/CA certification preferred
• 5–8 years of relevant experience, preferably within the F&B or hospitality industry
• Proven experience in financial planning and operational management within a similar business context
• Familiarity with Singapore’s regulatory and compliance landscape
• Strategic thinker with demonstrated hands-on leadership capabilities
