Infrastructure Engineer (Maintenance) - Perm Role

Key Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain, and upgrade servers, networks, and related hardware and software
• Perform asset management and maintain accurate asset records
• Conduct day-to-day IT infrastructure health, security monitoring, and checks
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and network-related issues
• Execute change management controls, ensuring all changes are tracked and properly documented
• Respond to service requests and incidents, providing timely and effective resolutions
• Work closely with service providers and vendors to ensure SLAs are met
• Automate operational tasks using basic Bash/PowerShell scripting and high-level programming languages such as Python or Perl
• Provide support for IT infrastructure-related projects and perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline
• Proficient in troubleshooting IT issues through log analysis and step-by-step tracing
• Able to work independently and collaborate effectively as a team player
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to learn new technologies and tools for continuous improvement of systems and processes
