Responsibilities

Support and manage enterprise security tools including firewalls, WAF, IDS/IPS, and micro-segmentation platforms.
Implement, review, and troubleshoot firewall rules (FortiGate/FortiManager, Checkpoint R81.x).
Deploy and maintain Zero-Trust and network segmentation solutions.
Monitor web-security policies, signature updates, and vulnerabilities; assess risks and recommend mitigations.
Handle production incidents, perform root cause analysis, and provide off-hours support when required.
Participate in security tool upgrades, migrations, and enhancements.
Ensure compliance with IT security governance and control frameworks.
Support audit activities and maintain clear technical/process documentation.
Identify and implement process improvements and automation initiatives.
Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors for security operations and project delivery.

Skills & Experience

Minimum 5 years’ experience in IT Security, with strong focus on Network Security.
Hands-on experience in firewall rule analysis and filtering mechanisms (FortiGate, Checkpoint R81.x).
Strong understanding of Zero-Trust architecture and micro-segmentation (Illumio preferred).
Experience in WAF operations (e.g., F5 ASM, AVI/Broadcom).
Solid knowledge of IDS/IPS and network security principles.
Experience managing production incidents and conducting root cause analysis.
Familiarity with ServiceNow and Microsoft Office tools.
Scripting knowledge (e.g.,Python) is an advantage.
Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Relevant firewall or security certifications preferred.
