Responsibilities

Deploy and configure cloud and virtualized infrastructure solutions (VMware vSphere, vCenter, ESXi, vSAN, Azure).
Automate cloud and infrastructure operations using scripting tools such as PowerShell and Python.
Participate in the specification, setup, and execution of Proof of Concepts (POCs) and infrastructure demonstrations.
Administer and maintain servers across virtual and cloud platforms.
Implement and manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policies, and Windows Server environments.
Perform capacity planning, performance tuning, and infrastructure optimization.
Ensure system availability, resiliency, and disaster recovery readiness.
Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for infrastructure incidents and performance issues.
Implement patching, security hardening, and compliance monitoring.
Support backup, storage, and disaster recovery solutions.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver reliable and secure IT infrastructure services.

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of hands-on experience in cloud or virtualized infrastructure environments.
Strong experience with VMware vSphere (ESXi, vCenter, vSAN) and/or Microsoft Azure.
Proven experience administering Windows Server environments (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy).
Hands-on experience in infrastructure automation using PowerShell and/or Python.
Experience in server virtualization (VMware / Hyper-V), storage platforms, and backup solutions.
Solid understanding of high availability, disaster recovery, capacity planning, and performance tuning.
Experience in troubleshooting infrastructure incidents and performing root cause analysis (RCA).
Knowledge of IT security best practices including patching, hardening, and compliance monitoring.
