Murex FO Business Analyst (BA)

You will be a Business Analyst focussing on Front Office requirements on Murex. This would include extending the existing implementation with these new product types as well as support for other stakeholders throughout the project.

Responsibilities

• Design and configure the proposed solution in Murex
• Requirements & Analysis: Engage with traders and product control to translate business needs into functional specifications, including Pre-trade rules, GOM (Global Order Management) setup, and market data
• System Configuration: Configure and maintain Murex FO components, including pricing environments, market data feeds, curves, and risk engines.
• Support & Testing: Provide daily front-office application support, troubleshoot issues, and lead user acceptance testing (UAT) for system upgrades or enhancements.
• Product Knowledge: Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for asset classes such as FX, Commodities, or Fixed Income (Bonds, Repos
• Work closely with the test team to review test cases and coverage, analyse defects and provide Murex configuration advise
• Augment the existing team members to fill capability gaps and backfill existing team members, as required
• Some level of thought leadership on solution design for FO in Murex will be expected
• Provide specialist markets technology solutions to assist in simplifying the existing architecture and automating the existing process
• Participate and Lead requirements workshops, sometimes including a large number of business SMEs who are geographically distributed.

• Provide production support and resolve FO-related issues.

• Ensure proper documentation of requirements, configurations, and processes.

Skills

Must have

• Engineering degree (Bachelor or Masters) or equivalent or master’s degree in Finance/Business
• Must have 3-6 years of hands-on Murex Development/ Integration/ Business Analysis experience
• Have a minimum 3-5 years working in Financial Markets with strong domain knowledge with exposure to multiple asset classes
• Strong functional experience across most or all of the following asset classes -Interest Rate Derivatives, FX Cash, FX Derivatives, Structured Products, Money Markets, Liquidity
• Knowledge of pricing and the end-to-end workflow of a trade in the Murex platform
• Experience working on a large scale migration/implementation/upgradation project would be beneficial
