Senior Business Analyst/ BI Consultant

6–12 Month Contract (Extendable)

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst / BI Consultant to support a high-impact programme. This is a 6–12 month contract with strong potential for extension.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage business stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document reporting and analytics requirements
• Translate business needs into clear functional specifications and BI solutions
• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI
• Build and optimise data models, DAX calculations, and data visualisations
• Work closely with data engineers and technical teams to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and performance
• Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and support deployment activities
• Provide insights and recommendations to drive data-informed decision making

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Senior Business Analyst and/or BI Consultant (> 8 years)
• Strong hands-on expertise in Power BI (data modelling, dashboard design, performance optimisation)
• Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300)
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and reporting best practices
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Highly Advantageous:

• Prior experience working on government or public sector projects
• Existing CAT clearance
