IT Infrastructure Engineer (Cloud/On-premise)

About the Company Our client is a leading organization in the energy and utilities sector, trusted for delivering critical services with innovation, reliability, and sustainability. To support its digital transformation journey, the company is strengthening its IT infrastructure team.

Salary & Benefits: Approximate Total Annual Package: S$105,000 – S$119,000

Average Monthly Equivalent: S$8,750 – S$9,917

• Basic Salary: S$6000 to S$7,000/month (negotiable based on experience)
• Confirmed Annual Bonus: 1 month
• Performance Bonus: 2–4 months
• The salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Office Location: North (Company Shuttle Bus: Provided across various areas for convenient commuting)

The Role

You will be responsible for the design, management, and optimization of hybrid IT infrastructure (cloud and on-premises). This is a technical role where you will provide both architectural guidance and hands-on management, ensuring that infrastructure is secure, resilient, cost-effective, and aligned with business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage cloud and on-premises infrastructure, including production, DR, staging, and development environments.
• Oversee compute, storage, networking, connectivity, monitoring, and security.
• Lead operations such as patching, upgrades, data backup, DR, and lifecycle management of IT assets.
• Deliver IT infrastructure projects, validating new IaaS/PaaS/SaaS solutions for fit, performance, and security.
• Manage IT infrastructure budget, monitor expenditure, and drive cost optimization.
• Collaborate with application, database, and cybersecurity teams to ensure systems meet policies and best practices.
• Work with vendors and partners to achieve project and operational objectives.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and recommend improvements to the IT roadmap.

Key Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent
• Certified Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect and Microsoft Azure Administrator.
• Experience in cloud solution architecting and On-Premise IT infrastructure management.
• Strong technical understanding of compute, storage, networking, monitoring, DR, and cybersecurity.
