Job Title: Infrastructure Engineer

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, and maintain reliable, scalable, and secure IT infrastructure. This role supports on-premises and/or cloud environments, ensuring high availability, performance, and security across systems and networks.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain infrastructure solutions (servers, storage, networking, virtualization, cloud).

• Manage and monitor system performance, availability, and capacity.

• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

• Ensure security best practices, patching, backups, and disaster recovery plans.

• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure incidents and outages.

• Collaborate with DevOps, Security, and Application teams to support development and production environments.

• Maintain documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational procedures.

• Evaluate and recommend new tools, technologies, and improvements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience.

• 3+ years of experience in infrastructure, systems, or platform engineering.

• Strong knowledge of:

  • Linux and/or Windows server administration

  • Networking fundamentals (DNS, TCP/IP, VPNs, firewalls, load balancers)

  • Virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V, KVM) and/or containers

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

• Hands-on experience with automation and IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, ARM).

• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch).

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
