Responsibilities:

• Architect, implement, and operate enterprise network security platforms including firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN, proxies, WAF and load balancers.
• Develop and govern Identity & Access Management (IAM) policies, roles, and multi-factor authentication standards.
• Administer and optimise next-generation firewalls such as Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco Firepower and Check Point.
• Deploy Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) and network segmentation across on-prem and cloud environments.
• Perform threat modelling, vulnerability assessments and penetration testing for network and perimeter systems.
• Secure hybrid connectivity between cloud and on-prem networks using VPN, ExpressRoute and Direct Connect.
• Maintain comprehensive security documentation, operational procedures and audit trails.
• Deploy, operate and monitor cloud platforms across GCP, AWS and Azure.
• Manage hybrid and multi-cloud environments integrating on-premises infrastructure with cloud services.
• Automate provisioning, scaling and backup workflows.
• Optimise cloud resource consumption and cost efficiency through governance and monitoring.
• Implement cloud and network security controls including firewalls, VPN, encryption and identity management.
• Investigate cloud security incidents, perform root cause analysis and support remediation and recovery.
• Track emerging cloud security threats, trends and technologies.
• Advise and train internal teams on cloud security best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in network administration, cloud architecture, cloud infrastructure and cloud security management.
• Strong knowledge of firewalls, VPNs, routing, and cloud-native security tools.
• Strong understanding of cloud security principles, architectures and best practices.
• Hands-on experience with major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud.
• Certifications preferred: CISSP, CCSP, GCP/AWS Security Specialty, CCNP Security or Fortinet NSE.
• Relevant certifications in cloud security and information security are highly desirable.
• Ability to analyse complex security issues and provide effective solutions.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication and interpersonal skills.
