Job Description

Responsibilities

Financing & Debt Management

  • Lead all debt-related activities, including sourcing, structuring, and securing loans for corporate and project needs
  • Develop and execute proactive financing strategies, particularly for shipbuilding and capital-intensive projects
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with banks, financial institutions, and lenders
  • Identify and secure the most optimal financing options available in the market

Banking & Financial Relations

  • Manage all banking relationships and negotiations, including loan terms, covenants, and credit facilities
  • Act as the key liaison between the company and financial institutions

Project Financing (Shipbuilding Focus)

  • Take a proactive approach in sourcing and securing funding for shipbuilding projects
  • Structure financing solutions aligned with project timelines and asset lifecycles

Treasury & Fund Management

  • Oversee treasury functions with a focus on fund sourcing and capital deployment
  • Manage funding strategies to ensure sufficient liquidity for ongoing and upcoming projects
  • Monitor financial markets and recommend suitable financing instruments

Asset Portfolio Management

  • Manage and optimize the company’s asset portfolio from a financing perspective
  • Evaluate asset-backed financing opportunities to unlock capital

Strategic Financial Planning

  • Support senior management in financial strategy, particularly in capital structuring and funding growth initiatives
  • Provide insights and recommendations on financing risks and opportunities

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
  • Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience in corporate finance, treasury, or banking
  • Strong experience in debt financing, loan structuring, and banking relationships
  • Proven track record in project financing, preferably in maritime, shipbuilding, or asset-heavy industries
  • Solid background in treasury and fund management
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills
  • Proactive, resourceful, and able to operate in a fast-paced environment
