The role involves supervising MRT infrastructure projects, including but not limited to the Cross Island Line and other related developments.
Job Requirements
The Resident Engineer (RE) shall possess a recognised Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
The Resident Engineer (RE) shall accredited and registered with IES and/or ACES, with a minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in supervising deep excavation and/or basement works.
Prior experience in MRT or rail-related projects will be an added advantage.
Monitor construction progress and ensure that all works and materials comply with: Approved specifications, Relevant codes of practice, Authority requirements, Applicable standards and regulations
Supervise all site works to ensure full compliance with contractual obligations.
Perform any other project-related duties as assigned by the Senior Resident Engineer (SRE)/ Qualified Person (QPs)
Supervise and ensure strict quality control
Review Technical Documents
Keep record of all site activities and prepare daily report
Monitor and report progress of the works on site;
Manage a team of RTOs
