Job Description

Kerry Consulting is working with our client that is a well-established energy solution platform with a strong and growing presence across Asia and globally. As part of its continued expansion, the organisation is looking to hire a Legal Counsel to support its dynamic and fast-evolving business. Key Responsibilities Reporting to the Head of Legal, you will play a key role in providing timely and effective legal advice to the business including but not limited to: • Providing strategic legal advice to senior management and internal stakeholders on a wide range of legal and compliance matters • Advising on EPC contracts, project development and execution • Supporting M&A transactions, joint ventures, and investments across regional markets • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of commercial agreements with external counterparties • Identifying legal and compliance risks and providing practical, commercially sound solutions • Managing pre-litigation disputes and advising on issues arising from existing commercial relationships • Overseeing and maintaining company policies, procedures, and standards related to legal and compliance • Monitoring regulatory developments and ensuring timely compliance with evolving legal requirements • Managing external counsel and supporting time-sensitive or strategic projects as required Requirements • Qualified lawyer with strong academic credentials and approximately 7-9 years of relevant experience • Experience gained in private practice and/or in-house within energy, infrastructure, or related sectors • Prior exposure to EPC, infrastructure or M&A transactions is highly preferred • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to partner effectively with cross-functional stakeholders (e.g. engineering, finance, regulatory teams) To Apply To apply, please submit your resume or if you have any questions, please reach out to Cynthia Teo at [email protected], quoting the job title.
