Business Planning Manager (Engineering)

Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
Salary: Up to SGD 7,000

About the Role

We are looking for a Sales Operations / Business Planning Manager to oversee and optimize the performance of the sales function. This is a non-sales role focused on strategic planning, team structure, and supporting long-term client growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the sales department to ensure efficiency and alignment with business goals
• Drive manpower planning, including headcount forecasting and team structure optimization
• Develop and implement business plans and sales strategies to support revenue growth
• Work closely with sales teams to enhance performance, processes, and reporting
• Support client retention and account farming strategies for existing customers
• Analyze sales data, prepare reports, and provide insights to management
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g. engineering, operations) to improve delivery and customer experience

Requirements

• Degree in Business, Engineering, or related field
• Prior experience in sales operations / business planning / commercial management
• Good understanding of sales processes and team management
• Experience in engineering or technical industry is highly preferred
• Prior exposure to sales or client-facing roles is advantageous
• Strong analytical, stakeholder management, and communication skills
