Systems Engineer - 1 Year Contract (Extendable)

Job Posting:
We are hiring a Systems Engineer to manage and support enterprise infrastructure including identity services, server/virtualization environments, endpoint tools, monitoring, and network operations. You will also provide Level 1–2 support for server, system, and network issues and keep infrastructure documentation up to date.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage enterprise services: Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, and Group Policies

• Support infrastructure and operations using tools such as SCCM, SCVMM, SolarWinds SEM, and Symantec Endpoint Protection

• Operate and support virtualization environments including Hyper-V and Hyper-V Failover Clusters

• Support enterprise backup and storage operations

• Perform basic scripting/automation tasks using PowerShell, VBScript, or Java

• Support multi-tier network operations including VLAN, LACP, and firewall

• Support server room infrastructure exposure (e.g., power and cooling)

• Provide Level 1–2 troubleshooting support for server, system, and network issues

• Document technical processes and maintain accurate infrastructure records

• Coordinate with vendors/contractors during deployments and troubleshooting

Job Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Computing, Electrical Engineering, or IT equivalent

• At least 1 year of system integration experience in relevant IT/cloud platforms, network, and support

• Relevant certifications (e.g., MCSA/MCSE, CCNA, ITIL) are a plus
