DevOps Engineer

Job Description

We are hiring an experienced DevOps Engineer to support and enhance enterprise-grade CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in DevOps tooling, containerization, Kubernetes, and cloud environments, with exposure to governance, security, and automation.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and support end-to-end CI/CD pipelines as a centralised DevOps solution
• Orchestrate pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or equivalent
• Manage source control, build, test, and deployment processes across multiple environments
• Containerise applications and manage deployments using Kubernetes
• Implement DevOps governance, security standards, and audit requirements
• Support hybrid cloud and on-premise infrastructure environments
• Collaborate with development, QA, and security teams to enable continuous delivery and testing
• Maintain observability platforms and support incident response workflows
• Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Bitbucket, Jenkins, Artifactory, SonarQube, Veracode (SAST), JIRA, and Confluence
• Proven experience in Kubernetes deployment, pod/container creation, and secret management
• Experience with OpenShift and/or AWS cloud platforms
• Solid understanding of build and branching strategies
• Hands-on experience with Shell and/or Groovy scripting
• Experience in customising JIRA workflows and setting up Confluence spaces
• Prior experience implementing CI/CD pipelines across internal and external cloud environments
• Experience with continuous testing tools such as JUnit, SonarQube, and Veracode
• Exposure to automation using Python, Chef, Ruby, or PowerShell
• Experience managing hybrid cloud and on-premise environments
• Familiarity with observability tools and incident management processes

Working knowledge of AI / Machine Learning applications

Exposure to Big Data platforms such as Hadoop, Cloudera, or Elasticsearch
