Job Description

Job Role The Quantity Surveyor leads cost management and contract administration throughout project lifecycles, delivering accurate cost estimates, tender documentation, and financial analyses to support strategic procurement and project execution. Salary range: 3500 ~ 5000 Years of Experience: 1-5 Reports to: General Manager (Commercial), Deputy General Manager (Cost Control & QS) (Commercial), QS Manager, Project Management Team Responsibilities • Prepare precise measurements and draft comprehensive tender documentation to support competitive bidding processes • Process measurements into contract bills and develop detailed schedule of rates for accurate cost tracking • Assist in drafting preliminaries and trade preambles to clarify contract scopes and requirements • Review technical specifications collaboratively with consultants to ensure alignment with project objectives • Conduct measurements, admeasurements, and re-measurements on-site to maintain cost accuracy • Perform detailed cost analyses and prepare outline and approximate cost estimates to guide budgeting decisions • Develop cost plans and conduct life-cycle costing studies to optimize building and installation investments • Prepare cash flow projections and periodic cost reports to monitor financial progress and inform stakeholders • Evaluate alternative designs or construction methods for cost-effectiveness and recommend viable options • Support procurement strategies by assisting with pre-qualifications and adhering to established tender protocols • Prepare tender documents and Conditions of Contract to solicit competitive or negotiated bids from contractors and subcontractors • Analyze tender returns to identify best value options and inform contract awards • Manage post-contract administration by communicating payment regimes and preparing valuations for interim payments • Measure and assess variation cost claims, preparing claims and final accounts to ensure accurate financial closure • Attend project meetings to provide cost management insights and support collaborative decision-making Required competencies and certifications • Recognized Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, or equivalent Preferred competencies and qualifications • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders and foster teamwork • Experience in managing large-scale commercial or industrial projects would be advantageous. • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
