Senior Planning Engineer

The Senior Planning Engineer is responsible for the planning, scheduling, development of sub-programs/ tracking programs for construction operations. Description A summary of the responsibilities of this position are, and not limited to, as follows: • Baseline programme/master programme preparation • Tender programme preparation • Recovery/catch up programme preparation • 3 months look ahead programme preparation • 4 weeks rolling programme preparation • Monthly progress report preparation • Weekly progress report preparation and presentation to internal teams and client • Weekly site visit for actual progress/resources recording is compulsory • Time impact analysis/programme risk analysis preparation • Supporting to contract team for claim issues. • CIP (Coordinated Installation Programme) Preparation • Gathering project information and coordination within team. Value Add of Position • Ability to identify potential and occurring problems that affect the schedule of works at site and recommend solutions to relevant team / department. Qualifications and Education Requirements • Education: Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in building (commercial) / civil (LTA) project Technical Competencies • Technical expertise and knowledge in Structural and Civil works • Proficient in Primavera P6, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Project • Proficient with planning and scheduling techniques.
