Pre-Registration Pharmacist

Job Title: Pre Registration Pharmacist Pre-registration pharmacists are required to undergo pre-registration training by the Singapore Pharmacy Council. As trainees, you will perform duties under the supervision of pharmacists. You shall develop fundamental capabilities to become independent, self-motivated, and ethically-minded professionals with commitment and skills to advance the Pharmacy profession in a practice setting. You will be exposed and develop the following skills or knowledge: • The provision of pharmaceutical care by working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary health care team to promote wellness, maintain current health, and/or manage acute or chronic illness, identify, resolve, and prevent drug-related problems; • Recommend and monitor patient drug therapy and provide drug information; • Interact with patients, patients’ caregivers and other health care providers, as appropriate to assure continuity of services and to achieve desired patient outcomes through safe, timely, and cost-effective drug therapy; • Ensure accurate and timely distribution of pharmaceuticals; • Provide education to patients and caregivers; and • Support and participate in the SGH mission of providing quality patient care, education and research. Requirements • Pharmacy degree recognized by the Singapore Pharmacy Council • Eligible for registration with the Singapore Pharmacy Council for Pre-Registration training
