Job Description

  • Contract role with leading bank in Singapore with 2 headcounts ending 31st Dec 2026
  • This role will sit in Account Control Monitoring team.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute remediation plans to cleanse and standardize client data in accordance with the bank’s requirements
  • Ensure prioritized data quality issues raised are promptly identified and remediated
  • Work with cross-functional teams to identify and implement more efficient solutions for data quality issues, including automation of manual tasks
  • Investigate appropriate corrective actions by reviewing source documentation where required
  • Perform the corrective actions and where deemed required, recommend process or systems change or preventive controls to avoid recurrence
  • Provide weekly reports on the data remediation progress for efficient tracking
  • Ensure appropriate and confidential handling/sharing of sensitive client data in compliance with the bank’s policies and procedures
  • Identify red flags related to data quality or compliance and escalate in accordance with policy and procedures
  • Ensure timely follow-up and/or escalation to relevant stakeholders as required
  • Complete delegated and ad-hoc tasks within the established timeframes to support the overall data remediation objectives

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or at minimum diploma holder
  • Meticulous and detail oriented
  • At least 2 years of experience relating to banking operations, preferably in Client Onboarding & Maintenance functions, client documentation and static data maintenance
  • Able to conduct and apply quality testing approaches in day-to-day activities
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to thrive in a team, is highly approachable and open minded
  • Able to be proactive in establishing processes and adopting best practices
  • Is methodological with an eye for details and possess the ability to work independently
  • Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint
