AI Automation Engineer (Power Platform)

We are seeking an AI Automation Engineer (Power Platform) to design, develop, and deliver automation solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform. In this role, you will translate business requirements into actionable solutions, collaborate closely with business users, architects, and data teams, and drive innovation across Power Platform initiatives. You will also manage governance, security, and operational best practices while building a Center of Excellence (CoE) for scalable automation solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and promote best practices for app development, data management, and automation.
• Standardize templates, components, and processes to ensure consistency and quality.
• Identify and implement innovative use cases for Power Platform solutions.
• Support the development of custom applications, workflows, dashboards, and AI-driven automation.
• Lead discussions with domain architects, SMEs, and business stakeholders to align solutions with strategy.
• Perform design reviews of Power Platform solutions and deliverables.
• Establish policies and standards for Power Platform tools and ensure adherence.
• Ensure compliance with CoE standards and regulatory requirements.
• Implement security measures to protect data and applications.
• Conduct risk assessments, audits, and ongoing monitoring to mitigate potential issues.
• Develop and deliver training programs to upskill employees on Power Platform tools.
• Provide support and guidance to citizen and professional developers.
• Build a knowledge base and foster a community of practice to share insights and solutions.
• Implement CoE processes and toolkits to monitor usage and performance of Power Platform solutions.
• Analyze usage data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
• Report on key metrics and outcomes to stakeholders.
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for Power Platform solutions.
• Manage updates, upgrades, and changes to ensure continuity and performance.
• Troubleshoot issues and incidents to minimize disruption to business operations.

Qualifications & Education:

• Minimum 10 years of IT experience, with at least 5 years in Power Platform development.
• Deep expertise in Microsoft Power Platform: Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Virtual Agents.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Azure, and Dynamics 365.
• Experience with data integration, automation, application development, and API/microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of development frameworks such as Django, Spring, Node.js, Express.js, ASP.NET.
• Knowledge of governance frameworks and best practices for platform management.
• Understanding of data security, privacy, and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to define and enforce governance policies and standards.
