Job Description

This is a 12-months contract hire.

In this role, you will work closely with researchers and engineers to translate research ideas into robust implementations and end-to-end solutions. You will design and develop new algorithms, system functionalities, and research architectures, while contributing to publications that advance the state of the art in AI research.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and engineer advanced AI research systems and tooling, with a focus on perception and foundation models
  • Develop new algorithms, architectures, and research platform capabilities
  • Support researchers and engineers in building and scaling AI systems on cloud environments
  • Collaborate with cross-functional research and engineering teams across computer vision and machine learning domains
  • Contribute to system implementation roadmaps and execution planning
  • Participate in research publications and dissemination of results

Requirements

  • 0–4 years of experience in LLMs, foundation models, or data-centric AI research, with the ability to work independently on engineering tasks
  • At least 2 years of experience in one or more of the following areas: Deep Learning, Computer Vision, Machine Learning, or Artificial Intelligence
  • 1+ year of hands-on programming experience in C/C++, Python, or Rust
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Vision, Machine Learning, or a related technical field
  • Experience developing computer vision algorithms or infrastructure
  • Experience with deep learning frameworks, preferably PyTorch
