Summary This internship provides hands-on exposure to real-world cybersecurity operations, including threat monitoring, vulnerability management, and security best practices. The intern will work closely with experienced security professionals and gain practical skills in protecting systems, networks, and data. Responsibilities Job Description • Assist in monitoring security alerts and potential threats. • Support vulnerability assessments and basic risk analysis. • Help review logs, security events, and incident reports. • Assist in implementing security controls, policies, and procedures. • Support security awareness activities and documentation. • Help with patch management and compliance checks. • Participate in incident response activities under supervision. • Research emerging cybersecurity threats and trends. Requirements • Currently pursuing a degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. • Basic understanding of cybersecurity concepts (e.g., malware, phishing, firewalls, IAM). • Familiarity with operating systems (Windows/Linux) and networking fundamentals. • Basic knowledge of security tools or concepts such as SIEM, antivirus, firewalls, or vulnerability scanners is a plus.
