AI Cloud Engineer (DevOps)

We are looking for an AI Cloud Engineer (DevOps) to design, build, and maintain the Azure cloud environments powering our AI and Data platforms. In this role, you will manage Azure sandbox environments, AKS clusters, Container Apps, and end-to-end CI/CD pipelines to enable seamless deployment of AI workloads from development to production. You will partner closely with AI engineers, data scientists, and architects to ensure scalable, secure, and reliable cloud infrastructure that accelerates AI innovation.

What You’ll Do:

• Design, provision, and manage Azure sandbox environments for multiple AI use cases.
• Create and maintain Azure Resource Groups with proper access control and organization.
• Monitor cost, performance, and security across environments.
• Deploy, configure, and manage AKS clusters and Azure Container Apps for AI workloads.
• Ensure reliable, scalable operation of containerized solutions in dev, UAT, and production.
• Apply best practices for container orchestration, networking, and cloud security.
• Build and maintain Docker base images for new AI use cases.
• Manage container registries and streamline handoffs from development to deployment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve containerization and deployment issues.
• Build end-to-end CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment workflows.
• Integrate pipelines with Azure services for rapid, reliable release cycles.
• Maintain pipeline health and proactively address failures.
• Serve as the infrastructure owner for the AI engineering team.
• Proactively identify, diagnose, and resolve cloud resource issues.
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for cloud environments and services.
• Work closely with AI engineers, data scientists, and solution architects to deliver cloud-ready AI solutions.
• Document configurations, processes, and troubleshooting steps for knowledge sharing.
• Drive automation, operational excellence, and continuous improvement in cloud operations.

What You Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• 2 – 8 years of hands-on cloud engineering experience, with a focus on Azure.
• Experience with Azure Resource Groups, AKS, and Azure Container Apps.
• Strong knowledge of Docker and containerization best practices.
• Proven experience building CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, etc.).
• Experience supporting AI or data engineering teams is a plus.
• Azure certifications (Administrator, DevOps Engineer, or equivalent) are a bonus.

Preferred Skills:

• Strong Azure knowledge: resource management, networking, security.
• Hands-on experience with AKS, Container Apps, ACR, and Docker.
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
• Scripting experience (PowerShell, Bash, Python) for automation.
