Senior AI Engineer for AI Singapore (Products) - Assistant Senior Manager

Duties & Responsibilities

• Lead technical design and implementation for complex engineering problems
• Own end-to-end delivery of key features or systems within Hub, Platform, or Spokes
• Mentor and coach AI Engineers; conduct code reviews and pairing sessions
• Drive engineering standards adoption: CI/CD, testing, reliability, SDK conventions
• Coordinate with Product and Research to translate requirements into technical solutions
• Identify and resolve technical debt; propose architectural improvements
• May lead smaller teams or initiatives when needed

Accountable for: Technical leadership and delivery within a squad or cross-functional initiative

Requirements

• 7+ years of industry experience in the field of data science, machine learning and AI
• BS in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent industry experience)
• Experience in technical documentation, including writing and maintaining documentation for complex software systems or AI projects.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and engage with diverse communities.
• Solid community engagement portfolios, such as impactful open-source initiative leadership and regular involvement in tech community-driven events
• 5+ years involvement in end-to-end prototyping, deployment and operationalisation of machine learning products in private/public sectors
• Technical leadership experience is highly favoured
• Deep expertise in ML systems, infrastructure, or software engineering
• Track record of shipping production systems at scale
• Strong communication skills; ability to work across disciplines
• Experience mentoring junior engineers
