Head of Department - Finance

Job Description:

• The Head of Department – Finance Management Department is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing the full spectrum of financial and operational excellence across the region.
• This role partners closely with headquarters and local business leaders to drive sustainable growth, ensure regulatory compliance, and deliver operational excellence. The incumbent will lead high-impact initiatives, strengthen organizational capabilities, and align financial strategies with corporate objectives to maximize business value.

• Financial Reporting & Governance
• Risk Management & Compliance
• Treasury & Capital Management
• Accounting & Operations Excellence
• Tax & Regulatory Strategy
• Leadership & Talent Development
• Others: - Drive special projects, transformation initiatives, and HQ-driven programs including SSC establishment. - Ensure alignment with corporate governance and global policies.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or equivalent professional qualification.
• CPA, ACCA, or CFA certification preferred.
• Over 10 years of experience in corporate finance, including at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
• Proven experience in multinational corporations and regional leadership roles.
• Strong track record in strategic planning, financial transformation and business partnering.
• Deep expertise in financial systems (e.g. SAP or equivalent ERP systems)
• Strong financial modelling, data analytics and reporting capabilities.
• Comprehensive knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, and regional tax regulations.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.3
• Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Capability to work under pressure in a structured manner
• Willing to travel as this is a Regional Role
